Fired! Ceramic Figure in Clay 9, 10, 11 January 2016, 9:30am – 4:30pm During this special three day workshop, participants will work with a life model and objects from nature to find a unique relationship between these solid objects and space. Utilizing simple drawing and modelling in clay, students will find their visual interpretation and be inspired by the figure and objects before them. With an emphasis on play and working with large structures of the body, participants will be encouraged to find creative possibilities that push the boundaries of traditional figurative sculpture.
